I got frustrated with the javascript compression extension curently available mainly because it was buggy and the PHP packer didn't work. So I have modified the extension so now it is more versatlie. It comes with the four following options
1 - Compress JS (compresses the javascript) 2 - Pack JS (packs the JS using Dean Edwards Packer 3 - Compare JS Results (compare the results achieved using the previous 2 options) 4 - Compress CSS It requires both the YUI Compressor and pack.wsf both of which I have included in the zip file during beta testing. I only included option 4 because the YUI compressor handles it just the same as JS compression so was a simple case of copying the function. Simply download Compress.zip (viz http://carbonize.co.uk/Compress.zip ) and extract the your PSPad folder. The bin folder needs to reside in the root of the PSPad folder and it contains the YUI Compressor and pack.wsf. The actual extension goes in Script/JScript but the file structure of the zip should put it there anyway. You will need to edit JSpacker.js to endure the paths for YUI Comressor and pack.wsf are correct. For most people on a machine set to use English the paths should be correct. -- Carbonize <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,51923,51923> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
